— Ensuring veterans have the care they need on the long road home —
Rush’s Road Home Program tends to health issues endured by veterans and their families. Established in February 2014, their intensive outpatient program (IOP) has helped treat over 1000 veterans. Researchers at Rush found that Road Home’s three-week IOP program reduced the number of patients reporting PTSD and depression symptoms by 50 percent.
This space—like Road Home’s two other spaces—is designed to embody Rush’s vision for leading innovative, patient-focused health care. Whether for a one-on-one consultation, art therapy, music therapy or an IOP program, this space ensures staff is always nearby and available. Each road to recovery is unique, and Road Home’s mission to assist veterans on that journey is eased through this familiar, comfortable space.
